Become a Liaison

It is our goal to have liaisons across the state of New York, and eventually around the country, so that we may further improve our reach and impact.  Becoming a liaison is a great way to get to know fellow members in your area and help promote the prolife feminist perspective in a state that sorely needs it.

What does a liaison do?  A liaison is a representative for Feminists for Nonviolent Choices in the area in which you live.  It is a flexible position that you can make your own, but we ask that you do at least one project each year.

Some examples of activities or tasks:

  • sending information to interested members

  • fundraising by phone or email for specific projects

  • writing prolife feminist letters to area newspapers

  • hosting a dialogue

  • representing FFNVC at pro-peace and/or consistent life events

  • attending relevant lectures

  • coordinating a speaker or film screening

When you decide to become a liaison, FFNVC will provide direction, suggestions, supplies, and membership lists for your area. Your name will be on our letterhead and you will become an important member of our team.

We are currently looking for liaisons in Buffalo, New York City (all boroughs), and Long Island.
